Why Don’t Santa and Mrs. Claus Have Children?

Even before he became immortal thanks to Christmas magic, Santa Claus dedicated his life to helping people, especially children. Being the father of Christmas, Santa thinks of all children in the world as his own. Santa delivers presents to the millions of children in the world every year and tries to make every one of them feel special.

Because it takes so much time and energy to make sure every child around the world is happy on Christmas morning, Santa and Mrs. Claus never had time to have children of their own. Every year, Santa has to work on making the naughty and nice list and help the elves make sure every toy gets made to perfection. Mrs. Claus is the one who takes care of all of the elves and reindeer at the North Pole. She also works with Santa to repair his sleigh and patch his magical red suit.

They are so busy, that Santa and Mrs. Claus only take a few days off in January every year to visit someplace warm and sunny so they can celebrate another successful Christmas.

Even though they never had any children, Santa and Mrs. Claus consider the elves, reindeer, and other citizens of the North Pole to be their family. They spend holidays and birthdays together, exchange gifts at Christmas time, and have big family dinners every Sunday. Santa and Mrs. Claus especially love getting to test out toys with the all the good little elf children who live at the North Pole.

Does Santa Receive Christmas Presents?

It should come as no surprise that Santa is a big believer in giving during the Christmas season. To make sure Santa feels appreciated Mrs. Claus and all his friends at the North Pole make sure to choose a very special gift for Father Christmas. They try their best to make him feel special since he does the same for everyone else without expecting anything in return.

Santa hangs his stocking every year and is always surprised by the presents he receives. Even though he is an old man, Santa gets as happy and goofy as a little boy on Christmas Morning.

Last Christmas, he got a personalized mug, golf balls, and a pair of leather gloves. He could not wait to start using them.

They wrap up the present and slip it under the tree at Santa and Mrs. Claus’ house. When Santa returns to the North Pole to deliver presents to all his friends that live there, he loves to come home and find that his friends and family were so thoughtful. He gets in bed just like any other good boy or girl, excited for Christmas morning.
